The monograph "A Model for All Christian Women": Candida Xu, a Chinese Christian Woman of the Seventeenth Century by Gail King, published by Monumenta Serica and Routledge in 2021, will be presented in a “Celebration of First Books” held by The Society for the Study of Chinese Religions at the upcoming AAS Annual Meeting in Hawaiʻi.
The Celebration features six books that exemplify new groundbreaking work in the study of Chinese Religions.
The presentation takes place as a virtual Special Event of the Society for the Study of Chinese Religions on Saturday, March 26 at 2:15–3:45 PM (HST).
