On 26 January 2023, at the invitation of the Center for Global Christianity and Mission of Boston University, the Monumenta Serica Institute presented its contribution of biographical data on SVD and SSpS missionaries in China to the China Historical Christian Database in an online event. The presenters were Zbigniew Wesołowski, Dirk Kuhlmann, Barbara Hoster, and Anthony Hu Baozhu. The Zoom meeting was well-received, the discussants expressed a particular interest in the research on female Catholic orders. A video recording of the event can be accessed below.
